  • Leo Panitch is member of the Greater Toronto Workers’ Assembly, is Canada Research Chair in Comparative Political Economy and Distinguished Research Professor of Political Science at York University. Editor of The Socialist Register, his books include Working Class Politics in Crisis (1986); The End of Parliamentary Socialism (with Colin Leys, 1997). He is the co-author with Sam Gindin of The Making of Global Capitalism (2012), winner of the 2013 Deutscher Memorial Prize.
  • Roger Rashi is a founding member of the left-wing Québec solidaire party (in English WhyQS.net) where he sits on the party’s International Commission and on the Steering Committee of the Mercier chapter which has twice elected Amir Khadir to the National Assembly. Roger is also a founding member of Réseau écosocialiste (Québec’s Ecosocialist Network) and a member of the editorial board of Canadian Dimension and Nouveaux cahiers du socialisme. He presently works as Campaigns Coordinator for Alternatives, a Quebec-based social justice organization.
  • Adolph Reed Jr. is a professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in race, class and American politics and was a key leader in the attempt to establish the U.S. Labor Party in 1996. His books include Renewing Black Intellectual History: The Ideological and Material Foundations of African American Thought (edited with Kenneth W. Warren, 2010); Class Notes: Posing as Politics and Other Thoughts on the American Scene (2000); and Stirrings in the Jug: Black Politics in the Post-Segregation Era (1999).
