  • Amanda Tattersall – is an Australian researcher, union and community organizer and the founder of the Sydney Alliance, a diverse coalition of unions, community organizations and religious organizations. Amanda spent three years in Canada, Australia and the United States researching some of the most successful coalitions from around the world. The book includes a chapter on the Ontario Health Coalition’s campaigns to save Medicare and against P3s; author of Power in Coalition. See also “Building coalitions to create mass movements.”

  • Natalie Mehra – director of the Ontario Health Coalition (OHC). The OHC has been at the centre of taking on the Ontario government’s plan for hospitals – Public-Private Partnership (P3) – privatization, contracting out and funding Medicare with her partners in the major unions.
